It definitely does not hurt to practice these cutting techniques while we wait for our books and officially start of our self led journey in our kitchens.
Though I'm sure you've all done this before. Practice the following, using the correct knife hold and cutting motion:
1. slicing an onion
2. dicing an onion
3. mincing garlic
4. julienne peppers (matchstick size)
5. cube peppers (and let me know the spelling of the term she used for this method)
Oh, and a good chef knife and cutting board will help. Here are some recommendations if you want to upgrade your tools. In the meantime, I'm sure what you have will be fine (just resharpen, resharpen, resharpen!! Dammit!)
